Volunteering with SVdP
Announcement: January 2012 – at this time, we are not accepting applications for volunteer assignment in the food pantry. However, if you have time during the day and wish to participate in working with clients, doing some light office work or working with a computer, we’d be glad to speak with you. We are also in need of a volunteer janitor once a week.

Please contact us if you are interested in serving people – that’s what we do. Most of our volunteers work in our Food Pantry (See Services for our Food Pantry times) filling food orders for clients who visit monthly. You could donate your time in coaching, counseling, guiding people in crisis especially if you have a special human services type skill or knowledge of a particular kind of program. We are always looking for help in the office too to drive our van, pick up donations, answer phones, make calls, do some writing, graphics design, special projects. More hands make light work.
