Our staff members/volunteers are offering assistance with these four key programs:

Food pantry

We offer emergency food and supplies to individuals and families on a monthly basis. Should there be a critical need and you require additional assistance please ask the pantry associate for an advocate interview. We can authorize Pantry access more frequently.

The Food Pantry is open:

Monday – 7PM to 8PM

Tuesday – 7PM to 8PM

Wednesday – 1PM to 2PM

Thursday – 7PM to 8PM

Friday, Weekends, Holidays – Closed

Referrals

Looking for assistance, but have no idea where to go or who to see. Ask for an advocate. They will even go to your home

We can provide referrals to agencies specializing in assisting you or ask for specific donations in our Church bulletin and other area Churches

Financial Assistance

Our advocacy team will listen to your problems and help you in obtaining assistance from Government agencies, utilities, educational facilities etc. or from our own funds (for one-time emergency needs only)

Services Include:

  • Temporary financial or other material aid given to those under excessive economic stress
  • Fostering self help on the part of those who are aided
  • Referrals to appropriate public agencies where eligibility for continuing assistance is indicated
  • Referrals to appropriate counseling agencies, financial, an or professional guidance
  • Self help services in obtaining employment (networking, computer job searching, interview training, clothing, personal appearances. Etc.)
  • Referrals to food co-ops, credit unions, repair co-ops
  • Home services for the aged and shut-ins, housing rehabilitation, legal services, adult education.
  • Emergency response in conjunction with the American Red Cross
  • Advocacy on behalf of those who are encountering delays and obstacles in the obtaining of services to which they have apparent entitlement
  • Conducting or sponsoring educational programs to acquaint our clients with community welfare and counseling programs. I e social security, budgeting household management
  • Emergency transportation, baby sitting
  • Hospital and home visitations
