Move it!!!

December 2008 – There’s a lot of food that’s been collected, it’s overflowing the pantry.  Scouting for Food and the Exeter High School Key Club really put in a huge effort to get us ready for the Holiday season.  We had such a volume, we used temporary overflow space in an adjacent garage. But it’s winter here in NH and freezing is a definite issue plus the garage has other uses too.  A generous Society member offered space in a climate controlled warehouse (thanks Dwight!) and so a work party formed to do the move.  In an hour and a half (and with a large truck) we moved 10 pallet-loads of canned and boxed goods into the warehouse.  Just in time too because it’s going to get really “frosty” around these parts very shortly.  Here’s some pictures of what this looked like before… and after….   Thanks to all who helped out today.  “More hands made light work”.

This is how the space in the garage looked at 12:45 PM...

"Hey! Nobody sneeze..."!

This is how things looked in the garage at 12:45 PM…

And this is where it all landed --- Amen!

And this is where it all landed…Whew!
